His tally of over 1,500 matches participated in is merely 50 less than breaking former Boston Celtics star the legend's league record.
The champion featured in 70 out of the LA Lakers' 82 games last term and competed in 71 occasions in the year before.
The previous season, James recorded over 24 points, 8.2 assists per game and nearly 8 rebounds per game and came in sixth in the MVP vote.
The Lakers reached the playoffs in 2024-25 but fell in five games against the Timberwolves in the initial stage.
