Netflix Selects Ideal Actor for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Third Season

The Secret Organization is set to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the third season, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.

The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece season 3 cast and will play Mr. 2. This character can use their power to change into an perfect replica of any individual they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reimagined as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action show, unlike the original manga and anime.

Escola will work alongside multiple fresh additions who will portray the organization to the screen, featuring chief Sir Crocodile, played by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as the ruler of the desert kingdom.

Though the role is a key figure of the organization, the persona will be introduced in One Piece the third season.
