A circulating footage depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.
